Name Tags

These are some of the wierd and wonderful name tags that I have worn over the past at various camps.

We had an army camp. This name tag had two pins either side and went in to our clothes. It was a good idea in keeping with the army theme, but a pain having to do up two pins each time.
The good ol' simple badge. Nice and easy, but also can be lost easily.
A nice simple name tag that shows your name well, but it was a little small to read, and unless the badge was placed high on the body, it was difficult to see. It did a good job of reminding us that there was a fairy-tale theme.
This name tag is one of those clear plastic pockets with the pin and clip on the back. They work, but often snap and get broken easily.
This was an interesting one, as we all had to make our own. It was made out of wire, with macaroni threaded all around it, followed by a piece of wood with our name written on. This one was easy and practical, however did pose to be a slight problem during wide games and when wrestling occured. The pasta also fell off frequently.
The good ol' simple badge. The policy at Mill Valley Ranch is that their voluntry staff (the leaders) are given hats to wear for the duration of the camp, so they can easily be difined as leaders. Their badges are on their hats, and therefore minimises loosing the badge, and it means the leaders always have their badges on.
This tag had soft string which went around the neck. It's very comfortable and easy to use. The only concern is that it can get in the way during sport.

The name 'swing' tag compimented the theme, which was The Strongest Link. They were designed on the computer and then photo copied in black and white and on different coloured paper. We then had all of the names written on by hand to later belaminated, where they received string to go around the neck.
